Imagine this: You run a successful business. You pay your bills. You have done nothing wrong. Then one day, you get a letter from your bank saying your accounts are being closed with no explanation, just \u201cpolicy.\u201d The truth? You gave money to a conservative cause, you posted the wrong opinion online, or your industry is not politically correct enough for the woke elites running Wall Street.<\/span><\/p>

That is not some conspiracy theory. That has been real life for the past 10 years.<\/span><\/p>

The Wall Street Journal recently reported that President Trump has signed an executive order directing regulators to investigate whether banks are\u00a0<\/span>discriminating against customers for political reasons<\/span><\/a>. It is a great first step, but it is not enough.<\/span><\/p>

We do not just need a policy. We need to implement the policy.<\/span><\/p>

If President Trump wants to strike back against the left\u2019s growing financial censorship, the most powerful thing he can do right now is tell every American who has been de-banked: If your bank discriminated against you, tell us. Put it in writing. Send it to the right regulator. Help us build the case.<\/span><\/p>

The White House, through the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) and other agencies, should make it clear: we are collecting real examples of discrimination. We want to know when banks are closing accounts because of your political affiliation, your religious beliefs, your business type, or even who you voted for. It is time to put this on the record and put the banks on notice.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

The left already uses these agencies to choke out entire industries through \u201creputational risk\u201d policies and ESG mandates. They have shut down accounts tied to Christian ministries, pro-border security companies,\u00a0<\/span>gun manufacturers and dealers<\/span><\/a>,\u00a0<\/span>prison companies<\/span><\/a>, and yes, even President Trump himself. It\u2019s been alleged that\u00a0<\/span>JPMorgan Chase dropped Trump<\/span><\/a>\u00a0personally after January 6, even though he had been \u201cvery good to the banks,\u201d as he put it.<\/span><\/p>

This is not capitalism. It is soft tyranny.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
